What can HAPI’s Community Development do for your Community?

  1. Provide construction funds for affordable housing at very competitive rates.
  2. Provide gap financing to cover the difference between appraisal and actual costs.
  3. Provide technical and hands-on assistance with building projects, from single houses to multi-home subdivisions.
  4. Assist in developing second-floor housing.
  5. Partner on a neighborhood revitalization project.
  6. Provide presenters and expert advice for community housing meetings.
  7. Provide connections to other resource providers and funding sources.
  8. Assist potential borrowers in identifying financing sources, including USDA/Rural Development Direct loans.
  9. Provide both Home Buyer and Renter Education courses at no cost.
