Due to the current production capacity, new house orders through the SDHDA Governors House Program will not be ready for delivery for 3+ years. HAPI has continued its dedication to our community and decided to find an alternative route to affordable housing in Aberdeen.
What are In-Fill Lots?
In-Fill lots are building sites or lots, usually with a dilapidated home located outside our subdivision, but still in Aberdeen. We acquired through wither the sale, purchase or donation of the house and/or lot. We demolish the existing home and clear the lot to then build a new home in its place.
As of Fall 2023 we have begun foundations on three of these lots and with the help from the professionals, JH Construction, have begun construction at the following locations:
