HAPIs Homebuyer Education is a free service for South Dakota homebuyers and current homeowners. Our classes provide helpful information on the homebuying process, homeownerownership, budgeting, credit, and more.

Credit History Review – Understand your credit report, credit score, and how credit impacts more than just financing.
Financing & the Loan Process – Learn about the home loan process, from working with lenders on your application to closing day.
Homeownership Responsibilities – Prepare for the financial and maintenance responsibilities of owning a home.
Predatory Lending Awareness – Learn how to recognize and avoid deceptive or fraudulent lending practices.
The education program is currently funded by Homeownership Education Resource Organization (HERO). HERO is sponsored by The South Dakota Housing Development Authority at no cost.
